Prof. Dr. José Reinaldo Silva (Poli-USP) is the coordinator of a project that aims at analyzing the use of cloud computing as a tool for research and teaching. This is a multidisciplinary project involving several subprojects from different schools at the University of São Paulo.
The “Process Mining @ USP” group is responsible for one of the subprojects, which comprises the use of cloud computing to support experiments regarding process model discovery by evolutionary computation, and automated analysis of business process using clustering methods.
The project is supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which celebrated a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of São Paulo.
