On March 11, the research group Process Mining @ USP was represented by Prof. Dr. Sarajane Marques Peres in the Executive Program for Online Immersion in Process Innovation, promoted by Blueprintt.
The program is an exclusive event in which successful practices, proven tips, and common mistakes are discussed by leaders of large organizations, with a high-level audience made up of process management practitioners.
Prof. Dr. Sarajane Marques Peres uttered the lecture “Data science + Process science = Process mining” (slides in Portuguese), in which she summarized the process mining area. She also commented on academic and industrial software that supports the implementation of process mining in organizations and the advancement of research in the scientific area.
On the same occasion, the Captain-Lieutenant of the Corps of Intendants of the Brazilian Navy, Mr. Henrique Pais da Costa, presented a case study in process mining, carried out in a budget management process of the Brazilian Navy (PDF – in Portuguese).
