Prof. Dr. Paulo Rogério Miranda Correia

Researcher & assistant professor (USP)

He is an Assistant Professor within the School of Arts, Science and Humanities at the University of São Paulo. He has been involved in research on concept mapping applied to teaching and learning since 2006. He was the chairman of the Sixth International Conference on Concept Mapping (CMC2014) organized by USP and the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). His current research aims to understand how to optimize the use of concept mapping in considering human cognitive architecture. The development of concept mapping tasks for virtual learning environments amplifies the data collection during teaching events. Process mining is a valuable approach to uncover hidden patterns and get more information from the ocean of educational data produced by LMS.
